Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella

I directed Cedar Park Middle School’s production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, leading students through the process of bringing this classic musical to life for our school and community. Throughout the production, I coordinated rehearsals, staged and blocked the show, and coached student actors as they developed their characters and strengthened their performance skills in acting, movement, and vocal expression.

In addition to directing the performers, I oversaw a handful of design and technical elements of the production. I designed and sourced costumes to help establish the visual world of the show and designed and programmed the lighting to support the storytelling on stage. These responsibilities allowed me to guide both the artistic vision and the technical execution of the production.

The performances drew audience members from across our community and were met with enthusiastic responses from families, staff, and local supporters. The dedication and work ethic of the students throughout the rehearsal process was truly inspiring, and it was incredibly rewarding to watch them collaborate, grow as artists, and take pride in the final production they created together.
