Spongebob the Musical

I directed Cedar Park Middle School’s production of The SpongeBob Musical, guiding students through the process of bringing this energetic and imaginative show to the stage. Throughout the rehearsal process, I coordinated and led rehearsals, staged and blocked the production, and worked closely with student performers to develop strong characters, storytelling, and ensemble collaboration.

In addition to directing the cast, I supported several design and technical elements of the production. I designed and sourced costumes to help capture the colorful and playful world of Bikini Bottom, and I designed and programmed the lighting to enhance the visual storytelling and excitement of the show.

The production drew enthusiastic audiences from across our school and local community and received a rave review and feature on BroadwayWorld Austin, which praised the quality of the production and highlighted several outstanding student performers. Watching the cast and crew dedicate themselves to the process, collaborate with one another, and grow as performers and technicians was incredibly rewarding, and the final performances were a joyful celebration of their creativity and hard work.
